Hello,

I hope you enjoyed grooving to yesterday's oldies but goodies music pick, 'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder. ;-)

I just finished writing about spiritual energy healing during 2010 transformational Earth shifts over at my Online Prayer Requests blog.

RIGHT after that, I came across this awesome 'Did You Know' video that brilliantly highlights the MASSIVE transformational shifts that Earth has undergone and will continue to undergo.

Talk about syncrhonicity!

As I said in that blog post, spiritual meditation is one awesome way to stay the course or as we say here in Jamaica, 'level the vibes', when things are going down fast.

I personally don't know what I'd do without meditation. Or emotional release, another simple technique I recommended in that blog post too. Both are the two critical emotional health techniques I use alllll the time to remain steady, centered and open.

That way I remain Soul-aligned no matter what and radiating high frequency vibes to attract and manifest universal support.

Both emotional release and spiritual meditation have kept me sane. Ok, semi-sane over the past 20+ years and I simply don't know how anyone survives today without a regular meditation practice.

As I write this, I'm looking forward to finishing this blog, doing a couple other things and then taking a half hour or so to meditate, relax, center and just Be with me.

Social Wellness Questions - So Are you Nice or Likable?

Hi on this wonderful Saturday morning!

One of the neighbours got a rooster over the Christmas holidays. It's crowing 'Good Morning' to all who care to listen and enjoy.

A rooster's crowing turns out to be one of my favourite sounds and I only remembered after hearing this rooster last Boxing Day, 2009. Every morning now, one of the first things I get to enjoy before I even open my eyes is that rooster crowing! ;-)

A neighbour up the road used to have many chickens and at least one rooster decades ago. I remember waking up to the sound of the rooster way back then and for many of my childhood and teenage years.

Isn't it amazing what we don't miss because we no longer have it and don't even remember having it... ;-)

I didn't plan it, but that may be a tie-in to what I wanted to blog about. Earlier, I commented on Scott Herrick's 'Cube Rules' post, 'Why you need to be likable at work — but not nice'. I found his post via Guy Kawasaki's tweet about a post he wrote about Scott's post. ;-)

If you look at the comments section of Scott's blog post, there's a debate about the definitions of the two terms, but these are the definitions set out by Scott:

The dictionary defines “nice” as it relates to a person as “pleasant in manner; good-natured; kind.”

Likable sounds like the same as nice, but it is not. The dictionary defines likable as “pleasant, friendly, and easy to like”.

And here's what I contributed via comment:

Word definitions are so interestingly close! ;-) Never-the-less, whether the definitions are yours or Roger's, the distinction is important and necessary.
Going with yours, being nice is often the easy way out of not Being fully who we are... of letting go enough of our power so that we end up waking up each morning wondering why life feels empty. It's also interesting how this nice/likable distinction plays out in every other relationship sphere, including love, family, friendship.

If we looked at nice/likable from the gender, male/female perspectives, the debate would get even more heated! ;-)

Whilst doing some inner work in preparation for the New Year, Guidance suggested I take back my power in certain specific areas. That was a bit 'd'uh' because that's part of what I do fairly frequently. Sometimes giving away power is so commonplace, we lose track when we do it and take it for granted. So in my ongoing time-with-me moments, I often look at that.

Despite this, when I focused in, I saw several ways that I have been 'nice' that have resulted in lack of clarity on the part of others about what's important to me.

This 'niceness', whether to not rock the boat or to allow others to feel good, blurs boundaries and sets up expectations and lack of clarity that can cause problems down the road.

Does being 'nice' allow others in your life to feel/pretend that you, your contribution, your opinion are not important? Do you play 'nice', give up some of your power and then end up wondering 'where did the respect, love, whatever go'?

In a world that is transforming from duality and separation to 'Oneness', it's still important to love, trust, respect and fully express yourself first. The one may not occur without the other.

Exploring then fully expressing and Being All of You is an important part of being a powerful creator of your life. It's important to be powerful because that's how you manifest what you choose to create in your life. Collectively, peaceful co-existence, collective abundance, love, respect and full self expression occurs when each one of us is powerfully Being who we are fully.

Your full Soul alignment, your full integration with your Divine Self and Soul Self is not possible if you don't have clearly defined boundaries as a human person first. It's the same as for all other relationships: know, love, trust, respect, honour and express yourself fully as a person and your relationships with all others flow much more smoothly.

If Being nice results in you giving up too much of what is important to you, what's unique about you, quit being 'nice'. Be You instead. That's Who Life Itself needs to show up each day so that our world can become what we collectively choose and co-create it to be.

Barack Obama 2009 US Presidential Inauguration Excitement

Wow!

I've been watching the crowds of people from all over the world converging in Washington on CNN (thanks for the pic!).

They are determined to witness President-Elect Barack Obama take the Oath of Office later this morning to take on the mantle of President Barack Obama.

The truth is that these tens of thousands of persons already filling the space are a mere fraction of the millions of world citizens also determined to witness this important transition.

It is one amazing culmination point in a phenomenal journey through a historical campaign that kept the world on the edge of its collective seat. And the journey will continue for several years to come. Thank you, Goddess!

As I watch even more thousands crowd into the mall, I breathe constant sighs of relief, joy, peaceful knowingness that the world's collective consciousness has manifested this breakthrough period that we now enter.

The paradigm shift in consciousness that has built consistently for decades, heightened since the 1990's is now bearing one more fruit.

The swearing into office of President Barack Obama is just one of the most powerful symbols that reflect the massive transformation that will continue to build, grow and swell into a complete reorganisation of life on the planet during the next few decades.

For today though, I'm celebrating, thankful and totally excited as I enjoy being a very distant participant in today's US Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama.

The world watches and we breathe in this joyous moment with awe, love and a sense of 'Yes we can' and 'Yes we did'.

World Peace Issues and Social Wellness - Why Is Education So Important?

Hi and Happy New Year again! ;-)

Going through HuffPost just now I found a great piece by Bill Ayers that distinguishes very well between the purpose of eduction in an authoritarian state and in a democratic state.

The issue is relevant to all world peace issues that confront us. Education will play a major role if we are to truly co-create ways of living together that result in peace, harmony, respect, sharing Earth's wealth and a common evolutionary trajectory.

It is a transformed educational approach, worldwide, that will allow all our children to use their full creative potential to help us manifest this new way of Being.

Bill Ayers is an author and distinguished Professor of Education and Senior University Scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

In his Huffpost piece he talks about the need for everyone who cares about issues to get involved:

We are not allowed to sit quietly in a democracy awaiting salvation from above. We are all equal, and we all need to speak up and speak out right now.

Then Bill Ayers gives specific examples of educational issues tackled by proactive citizens aware of their power to create transformation instead of waiting for the 'public official' to make the necessary changes:

During Arne Duncan's tenure in Chicago, a group of hunger-striking mothers organized city-wide support and won the construction of a new high school in a community that had been underserved and denied for years. Another group of parents, teachers, and students mobilized to push military recruiters out of their high school; Duncan didn't support them and he certainly didn't lead the charge, but they won anyway. If they'd waited for Duncan to act they'd likely be waiting still. Teachers at another school refused to give one of the endless standardized tests, arguing that this was one test too many, and they organized deep support for their protest; Duncan didn't support them either, but they won anyway. If they'd waited for Duncan, they'd be waiting still. Why would anyone sit around waiting for Arne now? Stop whining; get busy.

Bill Ayers discusses beliefs about the importance of education and why education is so important:

In the realm of education, there is nothing preventing any of us from pressing to change the dominant discourse that has controlled the discussion for many years. It's reasonable to assume that education in a democracy is distinct from education under a dictatorship or a monarchy, but how? Surely school leaders in fascist Germany or communist Albania or medieval Saudi Arabia all agreed, for example, that students should behave well, stay away from drugs and crime, do their homework, study hard, and master the subject matters, so those things don't differentiate a democratic education from any other.

What makes education in a democracy distinct is a commitment to a particularly precious and fragile ideal, and that is a belief that the fullest development of all is the necessary condition for the full development of each; conversely, the fullest development of each is necessary for the full development of all.

Democracy, after all, is geared toward participation and engagement, and it's based on a common faith: every human being is of infinite and incalculable value, each a unique intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, and creative force. Every human being is born free and equal in dignity and rights, each is endowed with reason and conscience, and deserves, then, a sense of solidarity, brotherhood and sisterhood, recognition and respect.

We want our students to be able to think for themselves, to make judgments based on evidence and argument, to develop minds of their own. We want them to ask fundamental questions---Who in the world am I? How did I get here and where am I going? What in the world are my choices? How in the world shall I proceed? --- and to pursue answers wherever they might take them. Democratic educators focus their efforts, not on the production of things so much as on the production of fully developed human beings who are capable of controlling and transforming their own lives, citizens who can participate fully in civic life.

Democratic teaching encourages students to develop initiative and imagination, the capacity to name the world, to identify the obstacles to their full humanity, and the courage to act upon whatever the known demands. Education in a democracy should be characteristically eye-popping and mind-blowing--always about opening doors and opening minds as students forge their own pathways into a wider world.

How do our schools here and now measure up to the democratic ideal?

Much of what we call schooling forecloses or shuts down or walls off meaningful choice-making. Much of it is based on obedience and conformity, the hallmarks of every authoritarian regime. Much of it banishes the unpopular, squirms in the presence of the unorthodox, hides the unpleasant. There's no space for skepticism, irreverence, or even doubt. While many of us long for teaching as something transcendent and powerful, we find ourselves too-often locked in situations that reduce teaching to a kind of glorified clerking, passing along a curriculum of received wisdom and predigested and often false bits of information. This is a recipe for disaster in the long run.

Educators, students, and citizens must press now for an education worthy of a democracy, including an end to sorting people into winners and losers through expensive standardized tests which act as pseudo-scientific forms of surveillance; an end to starving schools of needed resources and then blaming teachers and their unions for dismal outcomes; and an end to the rapidly accumulating "educational debt," the resources due to communities historically segregated, under-funded and under-served. All children and youth in a democracy, regardless of economic circumstance, deserve full access to richly-resourced classrooms led by caring, qualified and generously compensated teachers. So let's push for that, and let's make it happen before Arne Duncan or anyone else grants us permission.

Your parents taught you when to say it, who to say it to and that you should say it every time something good is bestowed upon you. As you grew up, you found that when you said these words, it made people happy. You probably also enjoyed hearing these words and found some pleasure in being thanked by someone for something you gave them, something nice you did for them or something nice you said. You learned that the words “thank you” had something to do with feeling good. You learned that these words served you, and you learned that they served others.

Saying thank you is meant to be a heartfelt response for something or someone, but it seems that often it is a perfunctory gesture, uttered without real thought or feeling. This has happened with other initially heartfelt sayings in our society too; “God bless you” when someone sneezes, “How are you?” when we greet someone and “See you later” as we say goodbye. The actual meaning of these phrases has been lost and the words are often said in passing without thought to the message – much like a reflex.

So how can we return to the true meaning of the words? How can we say “thank you” and know that we really mean it? It all starts with being in the present. It starts with a conscious awareness of your thoughts, your actions and your words, and the knowledge that when you are authentic, these three are aligned. And when you are in complete alignment as you use the words “thank you”, you are in a position to experience true gratitude.

Gratitude is a feeling that exists within in you. It is not a word uttered, a card sent or something you do to pay someone back. Gratitude cannot be seen or heard. It is not physical or concrete. It is not a person, place or thing.

Gratitude is a feeling in your heart.

More correctly, gratitude is a feeling that starts in your heart and emanates through your whole being. When you are in a space of pure gratitude, you will notice that your whole body feels lighter and freer. You will notice that your thoughts flow easily and your breathing slows. You may even call this state you are in, one of freedom. Feelings of gratitude often morph into other feelings of a high vibration such as joy, peace and love. And know this, when you get yourself into a feeling place of pure gratitude, all things are possible.

Gratitude holds great power - it holds the power to transform and the power to heal.

In my own experience, I have found gratitude to be the antidote for pain, both physical and emotional. When you are in a state of gratitude, and you focus only on that, you cannot think about or feel anything that is negative, hurtful or painful. When you focus on gratitude, you do not feel a sense of loss, loneliness or emptiness. And when you express gratitude to someone else who is in pain, you will see their body looking physically lighter and their face looking less tense or strained. Yes, gratitude eases pain and suffering, and it replaces these with hope and grace.

How to get into the attitude of gratitude… This is the easy part! There is one single step and no more. To get into a feeling place of gratitude you must simply shift your attention to that which pleases you and focus only on that. You must place your focus on that which brings you joy, that which shows you beauty and that which illuminates all that is good. What you think about, you bring about, so think of being happy, healthy and strong. Think of feeling abundant, hopeful and prosperous. Think of being joyful, light and free. Think of being in your favorite place, with your favorite people, doing your favorite things. When your thoughts are on the things that bring you joy and you are feeling really, really good – maybe even wonderful - simply say “thank you”, and let it fill your heart. This is what gratitude feels like.

Once you have experienced true gratitude, you will never again hear the words “thank you” without taking them to heart, and you will never again say these words without feeling good inside. And the more you practice feeling grateful, the more easily it will happen for you, until one day you will be aware that you are grateful pretty much all the time for pretty much every thing. And that, dear friends, is an attitude of gratitude. Now, that’s Powerful!

World Peace Issues - 45 Year Sentence For Giving Aid To Burmese (Myanmar) Cyclone Victims

I just got back from escaping from my computer! ;-)

And I wasn't going to 'work' but just got a glimpse of a HuffPost link to a NY Times story about a popular Burmese comedian being sentenced to forty-five years for helping to get relief supplies to Myanmar cyclone victims.

Lord. I know we live on a crazy, blue planet, but reallllllllyyyyyyy?????

Burma’s best-known comedian Zarganar and the prominent monk Ashin Gambira were among 35 regime critics sentenced to long prison terms in another day of trials in Rangoon’s Insein Prison on Friday.

Zarganar, whose anti-regime satire was a constant thorn in the side of Burma’s ruling generals, was given a 45-year term. Gambira, one of the leaders of the September 2007 uprising, was sentenced to a total of 68 years.

This is part of the continued crackdown of anyone speaking out about the human rights violations carried out by the military junta of Burma, changed by them to Myanmar, a name I only use for reporting purposes. A bit more background:

More than one hundred democracy supporters, including Buddhist monks, defense lawyers, members of the opposition National League for Democracy and the 88 Generation Students group have so far been sentenced by Burmese courts since the beginning of November. The longest sentence was the 68 year term of imprisonment handed out to Ashin Gambira on Friday.

I won't speak about this now, because I'm tired. But this is one more manifestation of the illusion that we are separate from one another. Duality. Me/We vs Them. Doesn't work! And it isn't going to last much longer on this planet!

Hello again,

I missed this 60 Minutes interview with President-Elect Barack Obama last evening. It is his first television interview since the November 4th election.

You know, this "Angela's Voice" blog's CONSTANT theme since it's very start in August, 2004 has been has been transformation. Over the years, we've talked about individual and collective transformation on many levels. My passion has always been tying together the various elements, levels of transformation.

It all begins with the individual. The individual transformation of personal values, beliefs, fears, habitual thought and feeling patterns that limit the fulfillment of passions, dreams, gifts, full expression of life purpose.

And as the individual transforms, that individual's human energy field gets fuller, more clear, extends more powerfully outwards to connect purposefully with all other human auras. But especially with other human energy fields that vibrate at the same frequency level. This is where the interconnection happens etherically, energetically.. between the human auras.

Each individual is a ripple trigger element of the entire human family collective. And the human family is one element of the greater Family of Life Itself beyond Earth.

Anyway, it doesn't make sense that I don't cover one of the most dramatic transformational occurrences on this planet - the election and governance of spiritual change agent Barack Obama.

So I'll be adding his name to the list of labels to the right and will share my insights as guided during the next few years. ;-)

Social Wellness and World Peace Issues - Gay Rights Debate - What Would Love Do Now?

I've been writing quite a bit about cosmic healing of personal values, beliefs, fears, habitual thought and feeling patterns.

My entire journey has been and will continue to be about inducing consciousness around any issue that limits my full self expression and the full self expression of anybody else or any aspect of life.

Last week, amidst the euphoria of Barack Obama's landslide victory, I realised that the overturn of the right of homosexuals to marry passed in four states.

By Saturday and more specifically, Sunday, I was aware of being deeply troubled by this issue. Because of what this vote against love meant but also because I realised there was some ambivalence within me that I hadn't cleared.

By Sunday evening, the troubled feeling left. On examination within, it came down to the issue of being able to love as fully as any other adult human being is able to.

My spiritual understanding and stance on any human life issue has always been that anything that doesn't infringe on the rights of others, especially children, but increases the love, understanding and acceptance, enhances mankind's evolution.

As Keith said in the excellent special commentary video below, sixteen states precluded black men and women from marrying in 1968, so the marriage between Barack Obama's parents in any of those sixteen states would not have been legal.

The only one word definition I've ever been able to feel comfortable with in my human efforts to describe God, Life Itself, the Universe, Allah, Jehovah etc is LOVE.

For the life of me, there is simply no other word that better describes the feeling I get when I ponder upon and feel the reality of this 'bigger than me' reality that those God words describe.

So it was easy to completely connect with Neale Donald Walsch's advice about a question to use to help clarify how to move forward in any situation we find ourselves in. That question is:

"What would love do now?"

Whenever my human personality, ego self gets caught up in the moment's drama, passionately, I use that question to guide me back to my center. Because my center, your center, Life's center, is LOVE.

I find that if I can deep breathe enough to let the drama go and ground myself in answering that question within, my inner intuitive knowingness and guidance always lets me know the next 'love' step I need to take to heal and balance any contentious situation I have created in my life.

Keith Olbermann eloquently lays out the history of marriage in the US and asks the same essential question about the vote that occurred in four states last week. Was this vote truly motivated by Love? Not religious love, not human, ego-type love. By Love.

The same Love that fuels nature systematically providing us with oxygen through Her trees every night, despite the fact that we wake up and kill them religiously every morning.

The same Love that allows us to awaken each and every morning to give us one more chance, one more day, to be a channel of Love to self, others and the world.

Would those votes have truly been cast, if all those who voted first centered themselves within this Love that keeps their heart beating, that keeps their own hearts hopeful enough to dare to get out of bed each morning?

Would being centered in that question allowed banning of the highest societally accepted expression of love between two adults to go through?

You may choose to remember to ask yourself this Love centering question each day you continue to draw breath and share your essence on our beautiful planet. Perhaps you'll want to center in the essence of the question then watch Keith Olbermann's special comment on Proposition 8's vote on the right to Love.

I was just catching up on the morning headlines over at HuffPost and came upon an article about mountain top blasting for 'clean' coal production.

CLEAN?

How can coal, caked with Earth blood, drained by explosives, be clean?

This is the unadulterated rape of Mother Earth. The eternal story of abuse, rape and dishonouring of the female and the feminine.

And I say "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"!!!!

NO more.

I call on Mother Earth and all the forces of nature. All the Ascended Masters, Blue Lightning Angels, Violet Flame Angels of transformation and cleansing.

Clear and heal and release all consciousness that dishonours Life in this way.

Blast, Blaze and Heal alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll parts of Life that is not in alignment with the honouring of the Divine Feminine.

BLASTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, HEAL and RELEASE this.

And so it is.


The madness of it all? We then say catastrophic hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, monsoons, earthquakes etc are the 'vagaries of Mother Earth'?????

VAGARIES?????????????????????????????????

So She's to take the continuous, constant, repetitive rape lying down, forever-victim? Accepting??????

REALLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Now? Oh HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I found an excellent Huffington Post article that perfectly complemented a discussion I had with my sister in the US last night and this morning.

The article is entitled "The Election Seen Through a Class Prism: Why Obama Will be Our Next President" by Joe Lauria.

I found the following passages relevant to the transformation of how life will be organised on Earth within the next couple of generations:

There have been two extreme economic systems in the past century--Soviet-style socialism in which the government owns everything in a command economy and laissez faire or market fundamentalism where government has almost no role, which is what the Bush administration gave us. Both were utter disasters.

The middle ground combines both systems, mixing free enterprise with heavy government regulation to create the successful Social Democracy of Scandinavia and Western Europe, where average people have more freedoms than we do. It is not utopian. It exists and it has brought social peace and prosperity. They let you run a business too, but government corrals you with needed regulations, lest you get too greedy and threaten universal health care, free universities, long-term unemployment and other benefits for all citizens. Curbing greed puts a check on the army occupying foreign countries too. Some wealthy Europeans wanted to break free of this corral to be as rich as their counterparts across the Atlantic. But the collapse has turned even free-marketers like Nicolas Sarkozy back to Social Democracy.

And the ending question is a central theme:

Every 80 years or so these economic cataclysms occur, vindicating the Left who carp on the sidelines during soaring markets, waiting for a collapse since wealth and power are never voluntarily given up. This is a rare moment to rearrange priorities, to make the system fairer for more Americans. After all, isn't democracy the widest possible diffusion of wealth and power?

I was a late teen during Michael Manley's socialist period here in Jamaica and that's when free education and steps toward free health care were established. We could talk forever about the problems of that era, but that is always the case in all periods of change.

Jamaica has a long and very proud history of trade union activity that protects workers rights. Women here can walk into any pharmacy WITHOUT a doctor's prescription, and buy birth control. Women also have free access to birth control at public health centers. Although not perfect by a veryyyy long shot, health care access is almost free here. All of these, and more, are required as a foundation for establishing true equality and access to power and wealth worldwide.

I wrote an email to my sister in the US just last night with a follow-up earlier this morning and the theme of our discussion was class issues in America and the world. I never understood why the US presidential candidates didn't really speak about poverty issues in this campaign until Obama started being lambasted for being socialist because he wants to cut taxes for persons earning less than $250,000. My sister says that figure is changing daily but whatever the figure, the idea is a start.

I thank Life Itself that Americans are now poised to be led by someone who will help to heal a few of these issues about access to power and resources so that the process of creating equality in basic ways can move forward. There will always be a 'rich' class but it has to eventually be in the context of everyone having the basics of good food, clothing, shelter, health care, education, money supply and full self expression.

Wherever we hail from, we are all citizens of the same world and we all have to 'live and play well together'. There is more than enough to go around, to share and to additionally provide much wealth to those who choose to create wealth for themselves and their families.

The what's missing is the will to collectively co-create use the resources we have been blessed with in a way that benefits everyone so that life on the planet works for everyone.

Again, I wish President Obama and Vice President Biden much love and support from all of us to carry out their mandate for the good of America and the entire planet.

You Fill Up My Senses - John Denver, Lyrics - Annie's Song

Hi there!

It's 11:11pm and I've been replaying John Denver's 'You Fill Up My Senses" video over and over.

It's such a wonderful love song and tonight, it perfectly fits my mood of being completely in love with my life, my world and with you.

It's been a day and a half. And I won't go into the stories. My son sleepwalking, kinda, at about 1:25am and me not being able to go back to sleep. Until about 11:00am and then fitfully.

Dream fragments, three in total, two of which I still don't understand and haven't been able to follow-up with the persons involved. The first of the three played out by 1:40'ish pm to the 't'.

That was great. I've been asking my Angels to speak more clearly and to let me know what is going to happen more directly and in practical ways that help and assist in real ways.

The dream fragment warned me of something happening that I knew was coming but dreaded, then I got guidance as to the exact words to say to the persons involved.

Despite the last minute temptation to say something different, the guidance strongly repeated what I was to say and the situation worked out smoothly for all concerned.

That left me with a cared-for feeling that has lasted throughout the day. And it has bolstered my confidence because I'm taking up two new projects at one time and feel a bit wary, even if passionate and excited...

Both projects depend heavily on me following my guidance and that the guidance be clear so that it's helpful to those concerned.

I've taken on the theme, Beingness, of 'effortless action', even more deeply, lately. No strain. No stress. And that's how I'm choosing to create the two projects. This despite whatever illusion of difficulty or stress that tries to insert itself between my picturing of my reality, the way I want it and how it manifests.

Continuing the ramble about the day's in and outs, without the boring details: Another evening of no political updates via television, so I filled the gap reading HuffPost, followed a link to YouTube and eventually wound up at, 'You Fill Up My Senses'... John Denver...

Hi,

My son was watching TV in my room and some screechy paper he was playing with woke me.

I couldn't go back to sleep so turned on 'puter with intention to add a few articles I wrote to my inducing consciousness and enlightened spirituality membership area.

When I typed in 'g' to get to my gmail addy, I accidentally clicked on my Meetup Goddess group that I'd joined some time ago. The weird thing is that just yesterday I made a mental note to go in and set up a meetup for the Angelic cosmic healing, inducing consciousness Jamaican group that I'll be facilitating every first Sunday.

So I thanked my Angels and proceeded to change email, add friends and start setting up the meetup...

Then I got distracted, got into Facebook and started going through some stuff there. Joined a couple groups, one of which had an interesting post about 'Love is being vulnerable' by Leeca.

She started off by sharing the following C.S. Lewis quotation:

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless--it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable.”

During the course of the ensuing discussion, many viewpoints were shared. When Leeca posted again about heart vs head and one's state of awareness in love, I shared this:

I feel that every dance with relationships, on whatever level, allows the possibility of dancing with Self at a deeper Soul awareness.

As we experience Self within, we open to see, acknowledge, love all Selves without. The interaction, whether with a beggar at a street light, a rapist or lover, deepens, embraces the wholeness and divinity of the other.

As we clarify who we are as Essence, Source, we see, experience and know that Soul level interaction is one one hand the height of vulnerability, but on the other, the deepest expression of the Oneness that we all are energetically.

So:

Who Am I?

Who Am I in relation to all other expressions of Life Itself?

What is my life's purpose expressed playfully, passionately with lots of fun each day?

As we clarify and deepen our Soul level understanding and awareness of these questions to do with the most important relationship with Self, we deepen the possibilities for true Soul level interaction with all other Beings.

The reminder is about this month of October and indeed the next few months. I wrote/spoke about this in my September, 2008 “Soul Self Help Insights” enlightened spirituality, social wellness and vibratory stress relief newsletter but it bears repeating.

October is a wonderful month for you to completely let go in your consciousness anything and everything that does not fit your preferred picture of reality.

If something has been causing you anxiety, stress and lack of inner alignment, take the plunge and let it go.

October is the month of clearing and releasing and allowing the new to coalesce and find expression within you and through you.

This means that if you have been wanting to strike out on your own to do something meaningful, this is the time to do that. If you have been looking at relationships...

How Does Stress Affect Health - Walnut Trees Hint At Possible Human Environment Interaction

I've written a couple times about the energy field of the human body or human aura and how our collective energy fields all connect at the energy level.

At this energetic level, all life forms are also interconnected. Because each life form vibrates at a specific energy frequency, each frequency is like an energetic signature.

If you can perceive energy, you are able to read the energy field of a life form, whether human, plant, animal or any other, and feel its vibration frequency. You are also able to know if it is under stress and possibly the source of the stress.

I just read an interesting article about walnut trees producing a type of aspirin when stressed out by changes in weather. You can read about it here.

There are so many exciting ways in which we are all connected. As we learn more about our human environment interaction, we will understand more deeply the vastness of who we are.

As we learn more about person to person energy fields, we will also understand much more clearly how interconnected we are with each other and with all other expressions of Life Itself.

The interconnection of your human energy field and person to person energy fields affects current world peace issues and their unfolding resolution a LOT.

I just listened to an interview with Pato Banton, UK musician of Jamaican roots. The interview was conducted on the Cosmic Citizen Saturday internet radio show by Laura and Andre.

I LOVED his song entitled 'Life Is A Miracle'! It is A-Plus, Five Starzzz WONDERFUL!!! ;-)

Then I felt like calling in just to say hello to everyone and to hail up Pato. Whilst waiting, the conversation turned to race and spirituality. Pato gave a very interesting response to the question he was asked about how he felt as a black man hearing the teachings of the Urantia Book about the black race. Honest, real.

When I was brought in and after the initial hello's and Blessings, I commented on the previous discussion after first apologising that I didn't really remember much of the Urantia material since first learning about it way back in 1990.

I touched on how we all get to experience all the different issues related to each of the races because we all take on different racial bodies at different time/space realities.

I also touched on how the issues of all the races really boil down at essence to each individual human being releasing the conditioned learning of being 'only a human' to embracing the divinity within.

Every year, year in and year out, he runs a 24-hour marathon internet event where he keeps posting all kinds of information about his favourite pet cause. The cause? The Heart Kids project that provide life saving operations for poor children who have heart defects.

This is life and death heart surgery. Their parents can't afford the cost of this expensive surgery for their children.

This year, Dr. Mani's event has taken the form of a Heart Kids Tweetathon. This is different because usually it's a Heart Kids Blogathon.

Here's what happened: He woke up one morning hearing a bird twittering away. By the end of that day, having heard about the popular Twitter social networking site, Dr. Mani was a registered Twitterer.

Today, Dr. Mani's Heart Kids Tweetathon is 2/3rd finished. Meaning that he has been twittering at regular 1/2 hour intervals for over the past 15 hours and 30 minutes. The target needed to provide heart defect operations for 12 children is $36,000. $3,980 has been raised so far.

The relationship between Abraham Lincoln and Barack Obama has been a subject of conversation in some circles.

It has also been coming up within my awareness too often so I want to just give voice to it so maybe it won't come up so often... I've promised my Angelic friends to pass on information with less resistance, so I said 'yes', I'll write something, sometime...

Earlier this afternoon this post started with:

... logging in and checking Tweets earlier, I came across an entry about Sarah Palin being the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln. I responded no, it's Barack Obama.

A bit later, I decided to do a search on the subject and came across several websites, one of which was a blog. This is what I posted there:

Abraham Lincoln's political life was about his great vision for peace, harmony and what life could be like in a unified America. This vision allowed him to work with those whose views were opposite from his which resulted in major political breakthroughs.

Reincarnation isn't about the superficialities. It's about carrying the purpose of life forward.

Leaving bias aside, look at the deeper issues, Barack Obama's life moves Abraham Lincoln's life purpose forward.

In regard to your list, think of what a lot of key democrats feel BO should be doing re recent attacks on him:
'Both are adamant mavericks, determined to do what they feel is right, no matter if that ruffles the feathers of even their own party."

If he wins, ruffled feathers will be the name of the game because he will look at things a lot differently than is the norm. As did Abe.

Another difference this time around is the choice of a much happier life. A sexy, happy wife with two lovely children in a large, centrally located home instead of an isolated area.

But to make sure, just ask about this after making the transition. At the time of life review, we each get shown what we need to know to get a larger perspective of what went on in the life just lived. If we ask. ;-)

Also, remember that the key to all of this drama and every other on Earth now, is to move consciousness forward so that real life can be transformed.

All the players involved, without exception, are fulfilling their Soul's life purpose... very, very well...

A discussion forum had a picture of Barack Obama as Abraham Lincoln that was uncanny. I've seen several, but this one pulled me more.

Perhaps I'll write more as I'm guided. Perhaps I'm not even to write this. Who knows? ;-)

The final site I was led to click on in the search listings turned out to be an article entitled 'What I See in Lincoln's Eyes' by.... well, you'll see when you get there... ;-)

A couple weeks ago, I asked on Twitter for feedback about what members thought were the special characteristics of Abraham Lincoln. I didn't get any responses there but new Tweets fly by so quickly, it would have been easy to miss it. So I'll rephrase and repost here, where it's a bit more 'permanent'. ;-)

What do you feel was the single most important contribution by Abraham Lincoln in the context of what was most needed at that particular point in the history of the US and the world, what with 20/20 hindsight and all?

I try to check out HuffingtonPost for US Presidential campaign news at least once a day as part of keeping tabs on how current news and political opinion reflects transformation on Earth.

Every news item in every news media is literally a collective reflection of this transformation. They represent social wellness issues and help in the process of seeing how outer events and situations reflect transforming collective personal values, beliefs, thoughts, feelings, attitudes and intentions.

Understanding synchronicity between these outer clues help you to connect the dots about the important unfolding consciousness on Earth in daily reality.

Earlier, I chose to comment on a post I saw and now post it here:

In this time when McCain/Palin are 'change' agents, anything that proves that they are not should be repeated over and over. A community organiser's job is to make change HAPPEN.

Not sure why but Dems aren't saying 'Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Jr. and other Americans who are revered today for their heroic struggles against social injustice were also "community organizers,"'

Every time Repubs make fun of Barack Obama being 'only' a 'community organiser' they make fun of helping poor people and people who want to be active in transforming their communities. THAT is the key that should be shouted from rooftops! That should be called out and called out powerfully.

POUND the issues and stop being distracted with Sarah Palin or any other attempt to get away from the issues. Stop holding back if winning is important, Dems!

The entire US Presidential election has been a study in the ongoing process of cosmic healing of the feminine consciousness on Earth.

This cosmic healing encompasses all issues to do with the feminine at both the individual and global level. Women's issues and sexual preference including gay/lesbian issues all fall right under this umbrella of cosmic healing of the feminine principle.

Additionally, every human being has both a right/left brain and consciousness that's synonymous with the feminine/masculine principles.

Men express more of the masculine consciousness whilst women express more of the feminine principle in general terms.

Gender and sexual preference issues may be more obviously a part of the human evolutionary and inducing consciousness process. But general individual and collective personal development and growth issues also involve a practical and harmonious integration of the feminine/masculine aspects within and without.

The outer societal issues expressed in political campaign, governance and development conversations help to push individual and collective consciousness development forward.

The challenge of the human journey is to perfectly blend both the masculine and feminine aspects on the inner plane and express this in a balanced way in the outer, daily life.

The personal and societal issues that you and everyone else on the planet face on a daily basis constantly push the evolutionary process forward because sooner or later the repetitive nature of both personal and societal issues become obvious and indisputable.

As this reality stares individuals and societies right in the face, change and transformation result in collective paradigm shifts in consciousness and the practical reorganisation of societal structure and life.

As human beings evolve globally, the conscious creation of inner balance expressed outwardly in the individual life multiplies to create increased worldwide balance and social wellness collectively.

As I open to be more of a channel of Angelic cosmic healing each day through my spiritual life coaching Soul alignment work, I'm ever more aware of an increasing wave of transforming energy sweeping Earth now. As I share inducing consciousness techniques that work for me and get feedback, I get to see how these help to transform real life situations.

We are at a point in world history of major shifting in the personal values, feelings, beliefs, thoughts and attitudes on both an individual and collective level worldwide.

In your own life, you are now more aware than ever before of the real, practical power you individually have to transform your life from the inside-out. The importance in this of the universal laws of attraction including the cosmic law of attraction principle continue to become more mainstream.

You understand that the starting point for transforming your daily life begins with your personal values, beliefs, thoughts, emotions, attitudes and intent. Because as you get intimately clearer about how these affect the choices you make and the actions you take in your daily life now, you cause ripple effects that affect your tomorrows.

The question is: How do you keep aware during your busy life about the blend of personal values, beliefs, feelings and attitudes that are powering your choices?

The only way that works from my own experience is to invest time each day in applying inducing consciousness techniques. These help to build your awareness of yourself and your ability to clearly pinpoint what's going on inside of you during both your normal days and those stressful, crisis situations that sometimes come up.

If you know, experience and therefore clearly understand how your personal values, beliefs, thoughts, emotions, attitudes and intent end up causing specific life situations, you will be more empowered to transform, shift and dissolve the ones that are not working for you. If you don't, you already know that you'll continue to create life situations that you do not want.

The personal values, beliefs, emotions and attitudes that you hold on to result in real life relationships and situations that repetitively play out in the same old way.

Looking and dissecting individual beliefs is a critical life skill that lets you see how they relate and reflect in your life situations. This empowers you now, tomorrow and for the rest of your life about how to recreate and transform what you don't like in your life.

Let us look at a simple example of how powerful acceptance of collective beliefs affect individual choices to reinforce and strengthen collective consciousness and reality.

The overriding collective consciousness about the role of women for a many centuries has been that the woman is mostly responsible for caring for children, her male partner and for the household.

Even if she works outside the home, the woman usually takes and is expected to take full responsibility for the care of her children, home and male partner in the vast majority of the millions of households around the planet.

The public role of women has usually been seen to be limited. Around the world the majority of women and men continue to believe that men are better at ruling. If you don't believe this, look at the percentage of women leaders there have been compared to the percentage of men in power at all levels of society.

Why is looking at what is manifest reality important? Because reality, whether in your life or in the collective life of your community, nation and larger world, is always a reflection underlying individual and collective beliefs, thoughts, feelings, attitudes and intents.

Inducing consciousness techniques used by individuals help to shift reality not only in those individuals' lives but help to transform and tip collective consciousness itself.

The shifting of the collective consciousness about the role of women on the planet occurs as more men and women individually transform their own personal values, beliefs, feelings and attitudes towards women.

As this process continues, shifts in consciousness will result in shifts in the:

** roles women accept for themselves

** expectations and beliefs men have about the role of women

** societal and collective consciousness that affects choices made personally, nationally and in the larger global community

I'll continue this discussion soon in another post to do with an important woman who has become a symbol of transforming the role and lives of women.

In the meantime, do you trust the process of life? Do your beliefs, feelings, thoughts, attitudes and life purpose intent reflect this? And are your personal daily life choices a statement of you trusting or not trusting the process of life?
