Happy Valentine's Day Greetings to YOU!!!

Hi, Fellow Earth Traveller!

Are you creating an unforgettable day?

NOT just because it's Valentine's Day... You know me.. I feel every day should be completely, blissfully magical and unforgettable.

What makes a day blissful, magical and unforgettable for me?

I like surprises. I like when Life puts me together with persons and situations that I imagined, wanted or thought of but didn't do anything about previously. I like reconnecting with great soul travellers from the past or new ones whom I immediately feel a strong heart connection with.

I like meeting strangers, eyes connecting and if lucky, an exchange, a conversation that validates the joy of plain being alive.

And this includes those encounters that really try my patience. Like some man trying to bad drive me because he sees I'm a woman and expects me to drive more yieldingly, which I can't confess to often doing in those circumstances. ;-)

Or when I buck up someone on the phone who clearly is not having a good day who wants to take it out on me.

At these times, we have a choice... do we get crazy, heart racing and rude to match or do we take a deep breath, center and send Love, Light and Blessings to that other human?

Anyway... I'd like to share two things that I enjoy deeply with you as my gift to you on this day when we celebrate love, friendship and our common humanity.

One is a site that offers monthly multidimensional feedback about what's happening on Earth and how we can use the abundant New Energy now arising on Earth to create our heart desires. I listen every month and try to print out and study the Tobias material.... it's that good.

The second is a song I found Sunday, February 8th on MySpace that I added immediately to my MySpace profile. I've been playing it non-stop as a love song to me during this time when I'm focusing a LOT on loving and nurturing myself much more and also as a love song to all of Life.

I'm 'MAD about' it and share it with you, as I'm also 'MAD about YOU'. ;-) The Hooverphonic love song comes up automatically as you land on my MySpace profile....

Jamaican Local Blogging, Citizen Journalism and the Democratic Process

I love it when an inner urge gets outer, synchronistic support from Life.

I just happened upon an interesting blog just now. The post I read was about the emergence and community transformation benefits of citizen journalism through local blogging.

Keith Axline writes:

The last step in the rise of the blog will be the connection of virtual and real space. Your favorite blogger might be in New York, but if you’re living in Oregon, chances are he’s not going to be covering local ordinances or missing dogs.

This is a crucial step for citizen journalism and the democratic process in general. When supporting local causes is as easy as checking your RSS reader, and when the paths of communication are transparent, the seemingly giant gap between an initial desire for change and actually seeing results evaporates.

Just last week I again felt the inner urge to blog about Jamaican local happenings. I used to blog about Jamaica and local Jamaican tid bits on my old, now offline Angel Soul Mate Self Help blog site but haven't taken it up again here... yet! ;-)

Since my newer, sad, almost-forgotten Angel Soul Mate Self Help blog will deal with my New Energy Spirituality work (Angel Prayer Requests and Creative Imagination Guided Meditations), I'll add Jamaican blogging to my "Angela's Voice" posts here.
