Nazanin Fatehi killed a would-be rapist in 2005 and was sentenced to death for premeditated murder. She would have joined about two-dozen other youngsters executed in the Islamic republic since 1990, according to Amnesty International, were it not for Nazanin Afshin-Jam, a Canadian singer born in
Iran.

The ex-Miss Canada beauty and songwriter Afshin-Jam used her pop star celeb status to work a miracle in Nazanin's life. Afshin-Jam takes on many other worthy causes and feels bad she can't help each person that appeals to her for help.

We won't go down the road that asks why a woman who killed a man attempting to rape her would be sentenced to execution for 'pre-meditated' murder. We already know what that's about. ;-)

Wayyyy to go, Nazanin. Your brave fighting off of a man will help other women to act strongly also to back up their 'NO'.
