Hello,

I hope you enjoyed grooving to yesterday's oldies but goodies music pick, 'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder. ;-)

I just finished writing about spiritual energy healing during 2010 transformational Earth shifts over at my Online Prayer Requests blog.

RIGHT after that, I came across this awesome 'Did You Know' video that brilliantly highlights the MASSIVE transformational shifts that Earth has undergone and will continue to undergo.

Talk about syncrhonicity!

As I said in that blog post, spiritual meditation is one awesome way to stay the course or as we say here in Jamaica, 'level the vibes', when things are going down fast.

I personally don't know what I'd do without meditation. Or emotional release, another simple technique I recommended in that blog post too. Both are the two critical emotional health techniques I use alllll the time to remain steady, centered and open.

That way I remain Soul-aligned no matter what and radiating high frequency vibes to attract and manifest universal support.

Both emotional release and spiritual meditation have kept me sane. Ok, semi-sane over the past 20+ years and I simply don't know how anyone survives today without a regular meditation practice.

As I write this, I'm looking forward to finishing this blog, doing a couple other things and then taking a half hour or so to meditate, relax, center and just Be with me.

Haiti Earthquake January 2010 - Opportunity To Make Things Right

Hello again,

I haven't blogged about Haiti before this.

It's a bit personal.

Firstly, Haiti is a very close neighbour of Jamaica where I live. So it's not just a member of the greater Caribbean community, it's a close neighbour.

Secondly, Haiti holds pride of place in the world as the first black nation to gain independence. That's special.

Then, when I was 17, I was a few weeks off from marrying a Haitian political deportee. He was jailed by Baby Doc. And when he started educating other Haitian prisoners about the possibilities for their country, he was put in solitary confinement for approximately two years... I don't remember exactly... it was some time ago. ;-)

Lastly, during two group gatherings when I was asked to discuss spiritual awakening and 2010 close to the end of 2009, the information that came through on both occasions was that there would be many opportunities for large numbers of Souls to leave the Earth plane in 2010. And that this would start happening quickly.

When I first saw Twitter tweets about Haiti's earthquake and confirmed via CNN and MSNBC, I was stunned. That word doesn't do justice to what I felt.

I bawled, called in the Angels and Cosmic Friends to protect, heal and assist those caught in the rubble, homeless survivors and who had transitioned. I continued to bawled, pray and send healing energy over the next few days.

I started tweeting that water, food, shelter, first aid etc were priorities several times a day.

And when I felt fear on the part of some reporters and aid workers there who spoke about the expectation of the breakout of violence in this country that is not a stranger to violence, but whose people were responding with stoic bravery and high, singing spirits in the face of this calamity, I bawled, moved anger and sent in healing Angels again.

By the Friday, I wished that I could see my old friend helping to organise things in the obvious lack of leadership by members of the Haitian government. A few days later, my Mom, of all persons, called to tell me that he was on CNN and asked if I had seen him. I didn't imagine that she would remember him.

When I was beginning to feel the urge to write this over this past weekend, I then had an unusual email exchange with someone who sent a link to a video on Haiti before the earthquake.

I shared with him, an almost stranger, some of what I share here and told him I felt so much better about blogging on Haiti now because I had the video, something wonderful, positive and reflective of the awesome Haitian spirit, to share.

Here's that video. The real Haiti. The possibility, through collective building, that Haiti can embody. Thanks to Brian McElroy of 'Road To Fondwa' who lived in Haiti for one year was involved in the production of this short documentary. Thanks also to Oz who emailed me about it...

Thanks to Larry King, Wyclef and all those who organised and continue to organise fund raisers for Haiti, large and small. And Thank You to all who continue to donate funds and who work there every day to save lives and make life more livable.

Very special thanks to the CNN Team who spread out fast very early. They have kept the real stories coming. It is my hope that they, along with all the other news teams, continue to cover Haiti and its renewal for many months and years to come.

We need to 1,000% help Haitians create their highest vision of their country.

Hi on this wonderful Saturday morning!

One of the neighbours got a rooster over the Christmas holidays. It's crowing 'Good Morning' to all who care to listen and enjoy.

A rooster's crowing turns out to be one of my favourite sounds and I only remembered after hearing this rooster last Boxing Day, 2009. Every morning now, one of the first things I get to enjoy before I even open my eyes is that rooster crowing! ;-)

A neighbour up the road used to have many chickens and at least one rooster decades ago. I remember waking up to the sound of the rooster way back then and for many of my childhood and teenage years.

Isn't it amazing what we don't miss because we no longer have it and don't even remember having it... ;-)

I didn't plan it, but that may be a tie-in to what I wanted to blog about. Earlier, I commented on Scott Herrick's 'Cube Rules' post, 'Why you need to be likable at work — but not nice'. I found his post via Guy Kawasaki's tweet about a post he wrote about Scott's post. ;-)

If you look at the comments section of Scott's blog post, there's a debate about the definitions of the two terms, but these are the definitions set out by Scott:

The dictionary defines “nice” as it relates to a person as “pleasant in manner; good-natured; kind.”

Likable sounds like the same as nice, but it is not. The dictionary defines likable as “pleasant, friendly, and easy to like”.

And here's what I contributed via comment:

Word definitions are so interestingly close! ;-) Never-the-less, whether the definitions are yours or Roger's, the distinction is important and necessary.
Going with yours, being nice is often the easy way out of not Being fully who we are... of letting go enough of our power so that we end up waking up each morning wondering why life feels empty. It's also interesting how this nice/likable distinction plays out in every other relationship sphere, including love, family, friendship.

If we looked at nice/likable from the gender, male/female perspectives, the debate would get even more heated! ;-)

Whilst doing some inner work in preparation for the New Year, Guidance suggested I take back my power in certain specific areas. That was a bit 'd'uh' because that's part of what I do fairly frequently. Sometimes giving away power is so commonplace, we lose track when we do it and take it for granted. So in my ongoing time-with-me moments, I often look at that.

Despite this, when I focused in, I saw several ways that I have been 'nice' that have resulted in lack of clarity on the part of others about what's important to me.

This 'niceness', whether to not rock the boat or to allow others to feel good, blurs boundaries and sets up expectations and lack of clarity that can cause problems down the road.

Does being 'nice' allow others in your life to feel/pretend that you, your contribution, your opinion are not important? Do you play 'nice', give up some of your power and then end up wondering 'where did the respect, love, whatever go'?

In a world that is transforming from duality and separation to 'Oneness', it's still important to love, trust, respect and fully express yourself first. The one may not occur without the other.

Exploring then fully expressing and Being All of You is an important part of being a powerful creator of your life. It's important to be powerful because that's how you manifest what you choose to create in your life. Collectively, peaceful co-existence, collective abundance, love, respect and full self expression occurs when each one of us is powerfully Being who we are fully.

Your full Soul alignment, your full integration with your Divine Self and Soul Self is not possible if you don't have clearly defined boundaries as a human person first. It's the same as for all other relationships: know, love, trust, respect, honour and express yourself fully as a person and your relationships with all others flow much more smoothly.

If Being nice results in you giving up too much of what is important to you, what's unique about you, quit being 'nice'. Be You instead. That's Who Life Itself needs to show up each day so that our world can become what we collectively choose and co-create it to be.

Change can be frightening to many but the possibility of transformation always brings opportunities for increased clarity, abundance, passion and purpose for anyone who chooses.

Last Sunday was very overcast after lots of rain throughout the night. Yesterday was usual Jamaican HOT weather and now it's pouring again and has been most of today.

This weather seems fitting as 2009 has been a year of cleansing and renewal. This process will continue into 2010, so as I listen now to the wonderful rain dripping from the palm fronds right outside my bedroom window, I rejoice, release and let go all old energy within me, my life and all my affairs....

Earlier I saw a Christmas carol music video and went looking for more on YouTube. I tried finding a Jamaican Christmas carol but I haven't found the one I want yet. I did find one by a FAV group, Celtic Woman. Enjoy! ;-)

Whitney Houston New Song and Video - I Look To You

Good Morning!

I caught Whitney Houston on Oprah Winfrey yesterday. It was a beautifully open, loving and deeply personal interview. Afterwards, Whitney sang her lead song from her new cd, 'I Look To You'.

It was a fitting song after the interview and every woman was deeply touched, moved and inspired. Whitney Houston has been through a lot and has come through and will be an inspirational pillar of strength for lots of other women who face life challenges.

Here's a video of her singing 'I Look To You' with her mother lovingly and proudly looking on in the audience. It was for the Good Morning America show on September 1, 2009.

In another interview after a performance at Wetten Dass in October, Whitney explained that the 'You' in 'I Look To You' is for anything you deeply believe in. She said this could include yourself, God, a loved one, a special cause.

What do you look to? When everything looks dark, when you're at your lowest ebb and lost in the depths of loneliness, despair and fear, who or what is your 'You'. What keeps you going on? What keeps you on the planet, waking up each morning, moving through each day?

For me, in those moments, when all I can muster is 'HELP', my 'You' has been what most of us would call God. God to me is my life partner, my Soul Self, my Divine Presence. That part of me, of Life Itself, that on good days I allow to flow freely through me to touch, love and bless the world.

During those times in this lifetime when I've felt close to the end, when the other side of the end looked better than this life experience, that larger aspect of me kept me going.

Knowing that I had not yet fulfilled what I was here to do was what kept me here. The idea of having to come back to do it all again, to face every challenge I'd already gotten through plus the one or ones I was currently facing, all over again. That kept me here.

That pulled me through. That connected me back with Source in a deeper, clearer way. That was my 'You'.

Gender Inequality - US Female War Veterans Experience Different Reaction Back Home

Hi,

Just wanted to quickly share an interesting piece on the difference in attitude both within and reflected by others, between female and male veterans returning from service in the armed forces.

I find it interesting because in every situation where inequality exists, it is always the persons who experience inequality who hold the power to create more freedom and equality for themselves. It is the conscious honing and wise expression of this power that upsets then overturns the systemic forces that support and prolong the inequality.

I also find it interesting because one of my passions is the spiritual reemergence of the feminine essence's free and powerful expression on the planet. This balancing of the feminine within both women, men and society's structures, is a necessary component to create healing and balance as we integrate divinity into human life.

This is a vital part of the ongoing transformation of how we reorganise life here on Earth so that it reflects 'heaven' or a more evolved consciousness right here in the 3D.

With that global background and context, it seems women service members learn to not voice their issues whilst on active duty, even if that includes sexual harassment, because it's often viewed by others as 'women whining'.

Losing one's voice is a part of losing one's power. As the feminine energy seeks to create increased balance and equality worldwide, each woman in her own sphere will or will not choose to express her own innate power freely. This choice, often ongoing and daily, and the dance between consciously exercising or not exercising this choice, will result in increased individual, then collective shifting of real female inequality that exists worldwide.

From the law of attraction perspective, energy follows focus. In addition to taking care of business, what is due because of service already rendered, it's also important to feel deeply within what the next step, the next form of expression is, and to create that powerfully inside. The personal experience of war or the personal passions that may have been put aside so as to serve in war can be a part of this inner clarity creation. Then it's to follow that inner clarity and creation process with specific, supporting, Soul-directed action steps to manifest the new focus in 3D daily life.

Women with war experience have a LOT to offer as societies transform themselves to be more reflective of the needs of the majority of its members.

We are all now preparing for a New Year as 2009 winds down. 2010 will involve even more exercise of choice, power and transformation so that we collectively reorganise collective human systems so that life works for everyone.

As you read the following news piece, explore your thoughts, beliefs and feelings from your own understanding of the two following principles:

a) how daily life experience perfectly reflects inner consciousness and

b) how to use heart desires to transform manifest reality in the 3D.

Spiritual Awakening and Spiritual Channeling Meditation - Guidance Always Tells Us What Our Best Choice Is

Hi again,

Yesterday's guided meditation was powerful and as usual, took a totally unexpected turn!

This first meditation to start off the second year of guided healing meditations was the first to run over one hour.

Somehow, every single month, without fail, every single channeled guided meditation always turns out to be one hour precisely. No matter how the meditation feels like it ran over or how quickly it seems to whiz by.

Yesterday's 13th meditation was the very first that was longer than an hour. By a whole half hour. I don't usually listen to the guided meditations afterwards but because of the spiritual channeling content and the length, I listened to some of it.

All I can say is no wonder Guidance told me to rest and relax so as to allow myself to be prepared for it.

The spiritual channeling that came through dealt with how to meld and align with the Soul Self and Divine Presence and how to allow yourself to be guided, step-by-step, into your next fullest self expression.

I'll try to edit a bit of it and post it here. In the meantime, the entire December 2009 guided meditation with the longer additional spiritual channeling will be posted for the next few weeks in the Inner Power Hour members section of my Angel Soul Talk guided healing meditation and spiritual awakening website.

btw, a participant in the meditation shared afterwards that the specific steps about how to align with and communicate with the Divine Presence of another person helped her. She used the steps after we finished the meditation and received a text message last night from the person thanking her for speaking her truth clearly and lovingly.

Take the time to practice listening to your inner Guidance to hear those faint whisperings that tell you what your next step and highest, best choice is. Guidance is always available to you for every single thing that is on your daily 'to do' plate.

Just listen, trust, follow. Test this for yourself. It's a wonderful, easier, less stressful and more blissful way to live and Be.

I was just catching up on a couple fellow Twitterers and saw a retweet by @spiritual_tweet about churches in a community getting together to help their congregants support each other on their journey to creating better health.

The idea is that they hold each other accountable for eating more consciously and healthily and that they exercise together.

Every year I literally start to feel my human consciousness step backward and inward. I've been hibernating every December for too long to remember.

There is an increased inner listening, inner conversation with My Self. And there is usually a theme that comes up front and center.

What is your front burner issue that you want to place squarely in front of your own Soul Self for input, Guidance and clarification?

What is it that you want to hone in on now as you end this year and prepare to begin a brand new one?

How would you like next year to be different from this year? How would you like next year to build upon this year's achievements?

How much further along are you now, today, in fulfilling your Soul's life purpose than you were in January of this year?

Have you taken the time this year to discern more about the blueprint for your life that your Soul's life purpose provides?

All across the world, more and more persons are feeling both an increase in energy and a pulling towards creating deeper meaning in their lives. There is an ever-increasing momentum of spiritual awakening of spiritual gifts that is occurring.

It's been a LONGGGG time!!!

I took a month's vacation in August and I'll write about that some time. I got to see my Mom, the first time in almost seven years. And I got to spend time with my third sister.

I'll share more.. promise! ;-)

I wanted to share something that I've been feeling a great deal of gratitude for recently. I realised that a whole year has passed since I started offering monthly spiritual meditation retreats in the form of live channeled, guided healing meditations.

We all feel how time is speeding up and all wonder 'where the time has gone'. And I suppose this is just one more example of that.

Guided meditations were not usually my thing. Sure I did them, even led them when asked to at spiritual retreats and at my own spiritual healing group meetings and workshops. But they were not my favourite form of meditation.

So you could have knocked me over with a feather when Guidance suggested last year September that I begin to offer a guided healing meditation. And to not only start offering it but that it be the very first offer I made available at my unused online spiritual retreats website, Angel Soul Talk!

I quarreled and argued and gave great reasons why it was not a great idea. Guidance was quite clear - it was not only a great idea but it was my next step.

This month is now the first anniversary of LIVE spiritual channeling of this Cosmic Guided Healing Meditation. Imagine, 12 months have passed by so quickly.

Now, I look forward to the second Sunday of every month because it is always time for a wonderful natural high that comes only from spiritual healing energy.

We laugh, catch up with each other and we meditate together, led by the Divine Presence with Healing Angels, Ascended Masters and other Cosmic and Galactic Friends adding their own spiritual healing energy and keeping us company.

Just wanted to say a public 'Thank You' to Guidance for this wonderful Channeled Meditation Gift. Left to me, I would not have been blessed now with a whole year's worth of spiritual healing, laughter, spiritual connections and channeled messages that uplift, inspire and create balance.

I just feel so totally Blessed. My heart overflows with gratitude, bliss and love. It just feels sooooo FULL!

Getting into the habit of moving your feelings all the time is important because that's the only way your body has to clear limiting beliefs, thought and feeling patterns that block your energy and prevent you from attracting what you truly want.

Expressing your feelings fully during your private inner work time every day clears your inner emotional, mental and energetic clutter to make way for the new.

It is this new energy, new and deeper consciousness and awareness of Who You Are that increases your frequency vibration out to the world, people and Life Itself. And it is that frequency that allows Life to channel back to you the people, situations and opportunities that match your deepest heart desires.

Bottom line: Your power as a conscious creator comes from the power of your feelings that radiate out through your energy field to signal the Universe, Life Itself about what you want.

Pay attention to your feelings, allow them free passage through you and reap the benefits of more creative power, authenticity and ease.

How are You Being today?

And how is that affecting how smoothly you move through your day? How quickly, efficiently and effectively you're able to tranform the challenges that you're working on?

This is key because time and energy are your most important resources. Fritter them away and your life loses focus, magic and spontaneity because you're always in 'catch-up' mode, not free to truly live and Be in the Now moment.

The quicker and more efficiently you're able to allow your Large or Soul Self Guidance through to help you line up your attitude, thoughts, beliefs, feelings and outer actions with Life's support, the quicker you're able to move through your To Do list.

No matter what words you want to use to describe that part of You that is larger than your personality ego self, aligning more efficiently with your Large, Cosmic Soul Self brings you into a much deeper, magical way of living and Being.

That's because your Cosmic or Soul Self is intricately linked in and One with Life Itself. It knows and is aware of forces that your mental, emotional, physical and smaller self have No clue about.

Life events are occurring so fast now that if you're not aligned with and linked in to your own innate Guidance that emanates naturally all the time from your inner Soul or God Presence, you end up following the wave rather than riding it.

As you increase your ability to intuitively tune into your own Guidance, you can practice and gain experience in following that Guidance so that you conclude your 'what next' To Do list item more easily and smoothly and with less stress and strain and frustration.

That way, you're free to move on to the next business or work, family, relationship or other life situation.
