Fearlessly Be All That You Are Today – Don’t ‘Do Nothing, Say Nothing, Be Nothing’
The meaningful quotation that caught my eye this morning whilst reviewing my list of favorite inspirational quotes was:
To avoid criticism do nothing, say nothing, be nothing. – Elbert Hubbard
It’s soooo easy to stay in our shells every day. To venture out just a little bit, and then to scurry back inside, to where it’s safe, comfortable, easier to breathe.
It’s so easy to not fully Be who we are. To hold back on expressing our deepest truth about an issue that’s important because we don’t want to go out on a limb, stick out, not fit in with others.
But as you fearlessly embrace all that you are, including your wonderful idiosyncrasies that make you unique, you vibrate at your highest frequency. And you attract to you those who are most like you.
Yes, you may also attract unwanted attention from those unlike you too. That’s part and parcel of you Being the Light unto the world. Shadows visit to test and try to dim your light. It’s part of the third dimensional reality of duality that offers us opposites from which to choose to live from.
All you have to do is Blaze your light, Be who you are even more. Darkness, negativity can never, ever snuff out Light – not even when the Light tries to dim itself so it stops shining as brightly.
And finding your Family – those individuals on Earth who feel, think and envision life here the way you do – decreases your sense of loneliness and supports you to be even more who you are.
What small way can you be fearless today? What have you been wanting to do that is a bit scary but feels right, authentic and expansive for you?
How about taking a deep breath and just diving right in today?
I’m here rooting for you… for you stepping out of your shell, into expressing yourself bigger, vaster, fresher.
Today I’m going to take a deep breath, shut my eyes tight (metaphorically) and write the beginning to a brand new fiction story. I’ve been hem and hawing and ‘studying’ and what not… but I haven’t written even one page of a story in the past few weeks.
Non-fiction seems soooo easy now, compared to writing fiction. I just end up staring at the blank page every time I sit down to write a story.
Today, come what may, I’m going to write at least one full page of the beginning of a story.
And I don’t care, am not going to stress about, whether I end up using it as a published story in the end. I just want to start writing my stories regularly, consistently.
Ok, your turn… 😉
